This year’s Camp Habitat will take place in the beautiful North Carolina mountains, at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly. Come join your colleagues from across the state for professional development, learning best practices, and networking. We’ve got a lot planned for this year around our conference theme “Expanding Our Reach.” This organizing idea will help us envision ways to improve and enhance the services we already offer, as well as think of ways to branch out and try new things that might better serve our communities.
You can expect a variety of sessions that cover all aspects of Habitat’s work, including (but obviously not limited to): ReStore, Volunteer Management, Board Governance, Critical Repairs, Communications and Marketing, Advocacy, Fundraising. We will also be hosting a special Congress for NC’s Habitat Executive Directors to discuss issues and network with each other.

Downtime opportunities this year will feature rocking chairs around fire pits, numerous hiking trails and a disc golf course on the camp’s grounds, historic Black Mountain at our doorstep and bustling Asheville just a 20-minute drive away, a craft beer social hosted by Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, and an SECU Challenge Celebration.
