10am-11am, facilitated by Matt Whittle, board chair of Habitat NC and executive director of Goldsboro-Wayne Habitat, and Habitat NC staff
Matt Whittle & Habitat NC staff will offer a review and summary of the $2M appropriation from the NC Legislature for a pilot program on remediation efforts and replacement housing in flood zones. Habitat NC will very soon have an RFP to distribute so that we can allocate funds to a small number of affiliates who can demonstrate a model of sustainability.
11am-12pm, facilitated by Matt Whittle and Habitat NC staff
Matt Whittle and Habitat NC staff convene a discussion around sustaining a statewide model for advocacy based on our success in the last legislative cycle. Where do we go from the $2M? How do we get a larger appropriation for a broader purpose across the state?
1pm-3pm, facilitated by Rachel Zeitler, independent advocacy consultant
Featuring representatives from Habitat Wake, Fayetteville Area Habitat, Charlotte Region Habitat, and more
