ASHEVILLE – Habitat for Humanity of North Carolina is set to build a home in each of the state’s counties, with Buncombe being no exception.
The nonprofit’s ambitious State Employees Credit Union Habitat Mountain to the Sea Challenge recently was awarded a $450,000 grant from the Oak Foundation.
The grant will cover most of the administrative costs associated with the multimillion dollar project.
