Legislative Day 2019, April 11th, will soon be upon us and we urge you to set aside the time to be with us as we meet face to face with our state legislators and rally support for the mission of Habitat. Education Day, April 10th, will offer information and greater insight into how our state can work with us to revitalize and restore to health our fractured neighborhoods. There is strength in numbers and we hope to have many there on the side of Habitat as we express how much is needed and how much needs to be done to make homeownership a reality for all.
Mark your calendars and make plans to join us at the NC Legislature to encourage our legislators to support the mission of Habitat –building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. We will again pit the House against the Senate in the annual Hammer Contest in an attempt to find the fastest hammer on the mall (a timed event to see who can drive five nails into a stud the quickest).
